Necessary Safety Devices for Forklifts

1. Driver safety insurance frame

When the forklift is raised more than 1.8 meters, a driver safety insurance frame should be installed to prevent objects from sliding and injuring the driver.

2. Cargo backrest

When the height of the forklift cargo exceeds 1.8 meters, a cargo backrest should be installed on the forklift lifting device to ensure the stability of the cargo.

3. Protective fence

It can prevent the metal objects being transported from injuring the driver.

4. Horn

Forklifts should be equipped with a horn with sufficient volume. If necessary, the forklift should also be equipped with a reversing buzzer for warning.

5. Front and rear lights

Ensure that the forklift can operate safely at night or in areas with poor lighting.

6. Turn signal

Indicate the direction of travel.

7. Rearview mirror

A rearview mirror should be installed in the closed cab.

8. Fire extinguisher

Forklifts should be equipped with a portable fire extinguisher (optional).
