1. Leakage
When the forklift is working, the safety of the entire vehicle circuit cannot be ignored. There is a possibility of leakage after the circuit is exposed or aged. Once leakage occurs,
it will not only cause direct harm to people, but also contact with flammable substances under high temperature conditions, which may cause fire accidents.
The leakage problem of battery forklifts is more serious. The connection of the battery surface must be kept clean, and dust and impurities must be cleaned with a wet rag,
otherwise it may cause leakage and even cause a fire.
2. Grounding
In the spontaneous combustion accidents caused by circuit failures, the main cause is grounding.
Common faults include: "breaking" of cables and frames and wire clamps due to vibration and collision; "breaking" of taillights, brake light wires, etc. due to vibration and
collision; loosening and damage of insulation parts at the lamp holder due to vibration and damage of connectors, etc.; all of which will cause long-term sparking and high
temperature when the vehicle is moving or parking, causing the insulation (or sheath) of electrical appliances, switches, and wires to be damaged, thereby increasing the
scope of sparking and expanding the high temperature area, and finally causing spontaneous combustion due to contact with paint, leaking oil, flammable items, etc.
3. Oil leakage
Leaking oil is a terrible flammable substance, and it is very important to prevent fuel leakage. When fuel leaks in the car, the motor vehicle itself has many fire sources that
can ignite fire:
(1) High-voltage electric sparks generated by the ignition system.
(2) High-temperature arcs generated when the battery is short-circuited externally.
(3) High temperature generated by engine exhaust or carbon deposits sparks, etc.
The oil leakage points are mostly in the joints, the places where the rubber tube touches the hot body and is easy to rub (active rods), and the joints between fixed and
non-fixed parts.
