Precautions for starting and driving

1. Before starting, the driver should first observe and clean the site and passage to make it suitable for forklift operation.

2. When starting, the emergency switch should be closed first, the electric lock should be opened, and then the direction switch should be turned properly, the horn should be 

sounded, and then the vehicle should start slowly and accelerate gradually. It is forbidden to step on the speed control pedal quickly to start, so as to prevent the starting current 

from being too large and burning the motor.

3. When driving, the vehicle should accelerate gradually, and long-term low-speed driving is not allowed.

4. It is strictly forbidden to turn the direction switch during driving. Only after the vehicle stops steadily can the direction switch be turned to change direction. Avoid sudden 

braking as much as possible. In case of emergency, the knife switch should be pulled down quickly, the brake pedal should be stepped on, and the vehicle should stop immediately.

5. When starting and turning, the horn should be sounded. When turning, going downhill, the road is uneven, or passing through narrow passages, the vehicle should slow down 

and drive slowly, and pay attention to safety.

6. When driving on the road, the vehicle should pass on the right side. The forklift fork should be about 100-200mm off the ground, and the mast should be in the backward tilted 

position. When two vehicles are driving in the same direction, they should keep a distance of more than 2m between the front and the rear.

7. When meeting or giving way to other vehicles, the empty vehicle should give way to the heavy vehicle.

8. When a forklift is towing a trailer, it is forbidden to drive in continuous curves to avoid large current discharge and affect safety. Regardless of whether it is empty, fully loaded, 

uphill or downhill, it is strictly forbidden to drive in reverse. When turning, you should slow down to avoid the goods from scattering. At the same time, pay attention to the inner 

wheel difference to prevent the trailer from scratching the inside or driving off the road.

9. It is forbidden to carry people in trucks and trailers.

10. Under normal circumstances, the travel motor and oil pump motor of the electric forklift are prohibited from working at the same time to extend the service life of the battery.

11. When the working voltage is lower than the minimum limit voltage of the vehicle, stop working and charge in time. 

12. If any abnormal phenomenon is found during driving, stop the vehicle immediately for inspection and eliminate the fault in time. It is strictly forbidden to drive with fault.
