1. Black smoke from exhaust
(1) The diesel engine load exceeds the specified value. Reduce the load to within the specified range;
(2) The fuel supply of each cylinder is uneven. Adjust the fuel injection pump;
(3) Incorrect valve clearance and poor valve sealing lead to valve leakage and deterioration of combustion. Adjust the valve clearance, check the sealing cone surface,
and eliminate defects;
(4) The injection advance angle is too small and the injection is too late, so that part of the fuel burns in the exhaust pipe. Adjust the injection advance angle;
(5) Insufficient air intake: The air filter or intake pipe is blocked, and the turbocharger compressor housing is too dirty. Clean and remove dust and dirt, and replace the
filter element if necessary;
(6) The elastic gas seal ring of the turbocharger is burned or worn, and the joint surfaces of the turbine are leaking. Check or replace the gas seal ring; tighten the joint
surface screws.
2. White smoke from the exhaust cap
(1) The injector has poor atomization, oil dripping, and the injection pressure is too low. Check the nozzle parts, repair or replace them, and readjust the injection pressure
to the specified range;
(2) When the diesel engine is just started, some cylinders do not burn (especially in winter). Appropriately increase the speed and load, and run it for a longer time.
3. Blue smoke from exhaust
(1) The air filter is blocked, the air intake is not smooth or there is too much oil in the oil pan (oil bath air filter) - disassemble and clean the air filter, and reduce the oil
to the specified level;
(2) The piston ring is stuck or worn too much, the elasticity is insufficient, and the piston ring chamfer is installed in the wrong direction during installation, so that the
oil enters the combustion chamber - disassemble and inspect the piston ring, and replace it if necessary;
(3) Long-term low-load (less than 40% of the rated power) operation, the gap between the piston and the cylinder liner is large, so that the oil is easy to enter the
combustion chamber - appropriately increase the load, and select the appropriate power when matching;
(4) Too much oil is added to the oil pan. Add oil according to the oil dipstick mark.
4. Water condensation in the exhaust: Cracks in the cylinder head allow coolant to enter the cylinder. Replace the cylinder head.
